Treatment
Gerri uses a collaborative approach with each individual using an intake assessment, evidence-based screens, individualized scaling, counseling techniques, and talks to gain insight into individual needs and treatment. This may include cognitive behavioral interventions, cognitive and emotional skills, and coping strategies based on individual needs. Gerri may include and incorporate breathing, mindfulness exercises, relaxation techniques verbal and written journaling. Mindfulness workbooks such as growth mindset and journals are typically used with preadolescents and adolescents to explore pandemic changes or simply for mindfulness insight.
